Revolutionize your greenhouse or food processing line with 4XROBOTS

Running a modern greenhouse or food production facility means facing labor shortages, rising costs, and the need for consistent quality. 4XROBOTS delivers a smart, flexible solution: collaborative robots designed specifically for horticulture and food processing.

Our collaborative robots handle repetitive tasks — from transplanting plants to packing fresh produce — so your team can focus on higher-value work. Safe to use alongside people, easy to program, and quick to integrate, they offer a faster return on investment compared to traditional automation.

Whether you’re growing flowers, vegetables, or processing packaged foods, 4XROBOTS can boost efficiency, reduce strain on staff, and help maintain cleaner, more consistent workflows.

4XROBOTS provides collaborative robots (“cobots”) designed for greenhouse workflows and handling packaged goods. They take over repetitive pick-and-place tasks like transplanting, pot handling, packing produce, and waste removal, allowing your team to focus on higher-value work — safely and efficiently.

Unlike large, fixed automation systems, our robots are lightweight (35 kg), easy to relocate, and quick to set up. Most importantly, they are designed to work safely alongside people, without requiring expensive fencing or cages. This makes it easy to integrate them into your existing greenhouse workflow and will not require additional floor space.

Collaborative robots, or cobots, are built with safety at their core:

  • Intelligent sensors stop the robot instantly if it detects contact
  • Lightweight design minimizes the risk of injury
  • No fencing required in most applications, so you can safely work alongside the robot

Yes. 4XROBOTS are designed according to the latest international safety standards: EN ISO 13849-1, PLd Cat 3, and EN ISO 10218-1. Safety is central in every part of their design.

Our robots can handle:

  • Transplanting seedlings and young plants into pots
  • Moving pots and filling trays
  • Packing fruits, vegetables, or plants into trays, wraps, or containers
  • Removing roots/waste from moving gutter systems
  • And many more — whatever tasks you can imagine, the robot can help make them safer and easier.

Our robot can move at speeds of up to 1,000 mm/s while remaining fully safe for working alongside people. It can perform up to 2,400 pick-and-place movements per hour. And because the solution is modular, you can simply add more robots to scale output as your needs grow.

The standard payload is 1 kg (≈ 2.2 lbs), which covers most transplanting, pot handling, and packing tasks in greenhouses and food processing. However, the actual payload capacity can vary depending on the active workspace and application setup. In some solutions, the payload can be higher than 1 kg — your integration partner will design the configuration that best matches your specific needs.

The working area is 1,200 × 800 × 550 mm (47 × 31 × 22 inches), depending on the application — ideal for most greenhouse and processing line setups.

This depends on the complexity of the application and function it will perform. However the setup is typically completed within days, and the robot is ready for production immediately.

Very easy, the control is via an intuitive tablet interface  including also implementation of sensors and vision systems — no coding required.

Yes — the robot is designed to operate in typical greenhouse conditions, with humidity levels up to 90% (non-condensing). Please note that it is not suitable for outdoor use.

No — 4XROBOTS is specifically designed for controlled greenhouse and indoor agricultural environments. It performs optimally in these settings, but it is not suitable for outdoor use, where weather and varying conditions could affect performance and safety.

We work with a global network of integration partners, many operating across multiple international markets. This means we can often connect you with a partner in your country — or one who can serve your location efficiently.

Sales are handled exclusively through our integration partners.

The robot’s intuitive programming and simple setup make it easy to integrate into your existing workflows. Its compact footprint ensures minimal disruption, and most growers are fully operational within just a few days.

Unlike large, fixed automation systems that often require weeks of installation, extensive construction, and workflow downtime, 4XROBOTS can be up and running within days

Here’s the difference:

Feature Traditional Automation 4XROBOTS
Installation time Weeks to months Days
Workflow disruption Significant Minimal
Space requirement Large footprint Compact and flexible
Scalability Hard to expand Add more robots as needed
Safety measures Often requires fencing Built-in safety, works alongside people

This means you can integrate 4XROBOTS quickly, safely, and without halting your current modular greenhouse operations.

Yes — at only 35 kg, the robot is easy to relocate. This flexibility helps you adapt to seasonal changes, bottlenecks, or shifts in production priorities.

Absolutely. With the right tooling, the robot can adapt to different plant sizes, packaging types, and product shapes — making it versatile for a wide range of crops and processing tasks. Please note that the payload is 1 kg including the tooling, and in some cases the effective payload depends on the workspace and application. Your integration partner will guide you to the right setup for your needs.

The robot is designed for an operational lifetime of up to 50,000 hours. Its cabinet, tablet, and arm are built to be maintenance-free, so it keeps running reliably with minimal effort.

While maintenance-free, we recommend simple care to keep it running smoothly. Wipe away dust or dirt when needed to ensure safe and reliable operation over the robot’s lifetime.

Our integration partners provide full service and spare parts. We also offer a 2-year warranty on all components.

Our robots improve both safety and hygiene in the greenhouse. By handling repetitive tasks, they reduce the need for manual contact, helping to keep workflows cleaner and lowering the risk of contamination — all while working safely alongside your team.

By taking over repetitive, physically demanding tasks, the robot reduces strain, fatigue, and injury risks — allowing your staff to focus on more skilled, rewarding work.

4XROBOTS offers an affordable and flexible automation solution, significantly cheaper than large traditional systems. Its compact and versatile design makes it ideal for growers with a wide product range and frequent line changes, allowing you to scale and adapt without large investments. Your integration partner can provide a full project quote tailored to your specific application.

Most customers see payback within a short period thanks to labor savings, reduced downtime, and improved consistency.
